2018 – Bowl Season Picks - Jacknife Sports

Championship week went well for the guessers. All did very good straight up and Kyle continued his dominance picking against the spread. Travis failed to finish above .500 ATS for the 6th straight week and 8 out of 9 weeks. Allan maintains his straight up pick leads. Travis has pretty much clinched last place in both categories. Kyle has clinched ATS picks basically and Allan has a pretty decent lead in the straight up category. Very good years for all, but still have the bowl season to go. (Last week: Travis - 12-3 SU, 7-8 ATS. Allan - 11-4, 8-7. Kyle - 12-3, 10-5.)

The bowl season has been in swing for about a week and most of the games have been lopsided so far. Probably too small a sample size to take anything from it. Most looked like pretty decent games, but you never know what happens this time of year. The big matchups will be coming fast and furious the next week or so. Obviously the national championship game matchup will be decided. But there also is the "momentum" teams will be looking for heading into the spring and next season. Although there doesn't seem to be much riding on these games for recruiting anymore with the early signing period that has been implemented. Almost all the top 300 prospects have already make their commitment. Kind of an interesting wrinkle. Only a couple weeks left in the season. How did that happen?
