2018 – Week 5 Picks - Jacknife Sports

There are a lot of good games this week. There are 2 top 10 matchups (thanks to Stanford pulling out the most improbable win against Oregon last week.) Virginia Tech and Duke are playing with one of the teams ranked, and that team is Duke! Not sure if Duke can produce the same as Old Dominion did last week. Oregon takes on a ranked Cal team. West Virginia travels to top 25 ranked Texas Tech. Not sure how Texas Tech held Oklahoma State to 17 points on the road. Who would have guessed that was going to happen? None of the prognosticators! There is even a top 25 matchup that involves BYU. Strange times, but all the strangeness is happening below the top 5. Back in the top 5 world is the same-old, same-old. Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, Ohio State, and Oklahoma (oscillating between 5 and 6) still sit at the top. We need some new blood in the Playoff. Let's get some real chaos. Maybe Penn State can take down Ohio State the is week. Or Syracuse can continue it's undefeated run and take down Clemson. On to the picks!
