2018 – Week 14 Picks - Jacknife Sports

Allan won the week and is dominating the straight up picks. Kyle is holding a big lead for picks against the spread. Travis just sucks. (Travis - 9-6 SU, 5-10 ATS. Allan - 12-2, 7-7. Kyle - 10-4, 9-5.)

The conference championships are here. and for the first time, every single conference has one. Lots to settle this week in both the conferences and the national picture. The debate has been raging between Oklahoma and Ohio State for the 4th playoff spot behind Alabama, Clemson, and Notre Dame. Of course, all those teams still have to win. Oklahoma is playing a team that already beat them this year. And don't sleep on Pitt-Clemson. Pitt is known for wrecking #2 ranked teams' seasons. Or it might be the expected blow out. And Georgia has had the quietest top 5 season I can remember. I guess that happens when you are in the same conference as Alabama. The Dawgs get a chance to avenge their National Championship game to the Tide which very easily could have gone Georgia's way.

I think everyone can agree, unless you are an Ohio State fan, that no one wants to see the Buckeyes in the Playoff again. Just from all the negativity surrounding the program to the ugly games against not-good Big 10 teams, they don't have a positive image. The Playoff has been in existence since 2014 - 4 seasons so far. So that means there have been 16 slots for Playoff teams. Of those 16 slots, 9 have been taken by Alabama, Clemson, and Ohio State. It's a high probability that Alabama and Clemson will be there again. Can we please get some fresh faces in there!
